I Know What It Feels Like To Run On Empty...

For years, I understood health, fitness and performance professionally.

I had served in the military, worked as a personal trainer and nutritionist, built businesses and coached people through their own challenges.

But knowing what to do did not make me immune to life.

During a difficult period overseas, my family and I faced uncertainty, financial pressure and circumstances largely outside our control. I gained a significant amount of weight, my health declined and the habits I had once taught others became much harder to follow.

That experience taught me something important.

Most people do not struggle because they are lazy, weak or lacking information.

They struggle because life becomes heavy.

Work takes over. Sleep gets worse. Exercise becomes irregular. Food turns into comfort. Caffeine helps people get through the day, and alcohol helps them try to switch off at night.

Then home begins to affect work, and work begins to affect home.

I created Performance Dynamics because I believe there is a better way.

Not a perfect way. Not an extreme way. Simply a practical one.

I help leaders, teams and organisations understand what is draining their energy, affecting their focus and limiting their ability to perform well over time.

My approach looks at the whole person.

Sleep. Stress. Movement. Food. Recovery. Habits. Environment. Workload. Life outside work.

Because none of these exist in isolation.

I do not believe people need another generic wellbeing talk or a list of things they already know they should be doing.

They need space to understand what is happening, a realistic plan and support turning good intentions into daily behaviour.

That is what Performance Dynamics is designed to provide.

I assess what is happening, help people understand why it matters, support them in making practical changes and then review what is working.

There's no judgement., no all-or-nothing thinking., and no expectation that everyone should live like a professional athlete.

Just sensible action that fits real life.

Because sustainable performance is not about forcing people to work harder.

It is about helping them build the capacity to live and work well for longer.
